PFS makes all of the arrangements for travel to, from, and in India. In India, we take the couple to
a state-of-the-art fertility facility where the male contributes his sperm and the egg (ovum) is extracted from the woman. The egg and sperm are then combined through conventional IVF methods.
The father's sperm will be tested for viability before being used to fertilize the mother's eggs. The fertilized egg is later implanted into an Indian surrogate. The Indian surrogate will have pre-natal care and her lifestyle and pregnancy will be monitored to ensure that the welfare of the fetus is safeguarded to the best extent possible. The parents may return home or remain in India for any portion of the pregnancy, and they will be kept apprised of the child's health throughout the pregnancy. At least one parent returns to India a few weeks before the baby's due date. When the child is born, the time to arrange the U.S. passport and return travel to the U.S. is generally less than a month.
