PFS makes all of the arrangements for travel to, from, and in India. In India, we take the U.S. woman (or the couple) to a state-of-the-art fertility facility where an egg (ovum) is extracted from the woman. Then, through conventional IVF methods, the egg is combined with the sperm from a pre-approved, anonymous, American donor.
The donor sperm will be tested for viability before being used to fertilize the mother's eggs. The fertilized egg is later implanted into an Indian surrogate. The Indian surrogate will have pre-natal care and her lifestyle and pregnancy will be monitored to ensure that the welfare of the fetus is safeguarded to the best extent possible. The parents may return home or remain in India for any portion of the pregnancy, and they will be kept apprised of the child's health throughout the pregnancy. The mother returns to India a few weeks before the baby's due date. When the child is born, the time to arrange the U.S. passport and return travel to the U.S. is generally less than a month.
