IVF Program

At a state-of-the-art fertility facility in India, IVF and/or ICSI treatments will be performed, based on your needs. The same procedures and medicines you would receive during the IVF/ICSI processes in the U.S. will be used in India, for a fraction of the cost. Quality of care is paramount. We use the finest IVF centers and doctors to help ensure the best chance of conception for U.S. couples.

IVF procedures

There are a host of IVF procedures available to you in India, for a fraction of the cost you would be charged in the U.S. The more common IVF procedures include:

Egg Donations
The IVF process can use the Mother's egg and Father's sperm, or, if the couple needs a donation, eggs (from a pre-approved American donor) can be secured.

Male Infertility
  • With low sperm counts or after a vasectomy, it is still possible for a man to contribute genetic material in order to fertilize an egg. Sperm aspiration from the epididymis or testicle - PESA or TESA - and then ICSI and IVF offer a solution. Sperm can be aspirated with a needle from either the testicle or the epididymis. The different sperm aspiration and extraction procedures include:
    • PESA - Percutaneous Epididymal
    • TESA - Testicular Sperm Aspiration
    • TESE - Testicular Sperm Extraction (involves a small incision and snipping off some tissue from inside the testicle)
  • With a PESA or TESA (after vasectomy) there will usually be thousands to millions of sperm retrieved. However, TESE would generally be required only in cases where the testicle has very low sperm production and is a promising option for men with low sperm counts and/or diminished sperm motility. The sperm should be of sufficient quantity and quality to be able to fertilize eggs in the laboratory using a procedure that injects each egg with a single sperm. This process is called intracytoplasmic sperm injection, or ICSI.
  • The sperm can be used fresh if it is obtained on the same day that the eggs are obtained from the woman, or it can be frozen and then thawed and used later. Usually enough sperm is aspirated so that it can be split up into several vials and multiple attempts of IVF can be performed if that will be necessary.

Surrogacy
If the IVF/ICSI treatments reveal engaging a surrogate is the best route for the individual/couple, the individual/couple can switch to any of our surrogacy programs:
The above programs all use Indian surrogates who receive constant pre-natal care and are monitored throughout the pregnancy to safeguard the welfare of the fetus/child.
